Export haulage

Export haulage is the process of moving goods from the shipper’s location to the freight forwarder’s warehouse. It is usually done by road transport, such as rail, small vehicles, or trucks. The arrival of the shipment depends on the size of the products and the type of transport used for shipping. Usually, it takes six to seven hours.

After receiving the goods, the freight forwarder will check everything to make sure that all products arrive safely.

Export customs clearance

Every country has its own rules for customs clearance. Before the shipment is moved, it needs clearance from the authorities in the country of origin. The freight forwarder will submit all the documents and details about the shipment.

Arrival and handling

In the final stage of the freight forwarding process, the products are moved from the receiving warehouse to the customer. It could be done by the freight forwarder or any local courier service.
